Otterlo

Otterlo is also known locally as the vibrant heart of the Veluwe. Right in the middle of the Veluwe and the entrance to the National Park De Hoge Veluwe is next door. This makes the hospitable village perfectly set up for tourism, so there are several campsites, hotels and restaurants. Furthermore, there are various cycling and hiking trails in the area that go right through the Veluwe nature. So a green and hospitable village!

Of course, Otterlo is the perfect base to visit De Hoge Veluwe National Park. This is a famous nature reserve with grassy plains, moors and sand drifts in addition there live many wild animals. So very nice for a relaxing bike ride or walk through nature. Furthermore, there is Otterlo of course more to experience, there are several museums such as the tile museum and the Kröller-Müller Museum.
