E-walking bikes make a reservation
The E-walking bike is a hilarious mode of transportation that lets you explore the Veluwe with great fun. The walking bike, also known as the “lopifit,” is an electrically powered hybrid of a scooter, a bicycle, and a treadmill. It allows you to reach the speed of a bicycle while walking. This means less effort and much more fun!
The balance bike is something different than renting a bike on the Veluwe. An afternoon on the road with the balance bikes is the perfect activity for example a family outing or family day. After a short instruction and the explanation of the route you can go on your own.
Decide where you want to 'walk around' on the Veluwe. We have put together different routes where you can make fun stops. For example, take a look at Radio Kootwijk and the beautiful sand excavations from Otterlo. Or start in Garderen and take a look at Landgoed Staverden. You make a beautiful route of 2 hours and 45 minutes across the Veluwe.
Is just the walking bike not enough? Then combine it with one of the other activities, try mountain biking, for example. With this, no mud path or hill is too much. Expand it with a delicious lunch and your day out on the Veluwe is complete.
We maintain a minimum age of 13 years
We ask up to 4 persons €150,- deposit per reservation. For more persons we ask €250,- deposit per reservation. This amount can be pre-paid in the store.
With the " E-walking bikes ," you follow a set route through the Veluwe; you cannot deviate from it.
Why do I have to pay a deposit when renting from E-chopper, E-walking bike , or Bakfiets (Dutch cargo bike)?
We want everyone to handle our equipment safely and with care. That’s why we require a deposit when you rent a E-chopper, E-walking bike , or Bakfiets (Dutch cargo bike) . We temporarily hold this amount in case any damage occurs during use.
How long does a route take?
You'll rent the " E-walking bike " for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The route is designed so that you can take a short break, for example, at a restaurant or café.
Does the route I am given also take me past catering establishments?
Yes, the route passes at least two catering establishments.
Is the E-walking bike accessible to everyone?
No, the E-walking bike isn't suitable for everyone. You need to be able to walk well and keep up with faster traffic. This is because the pedal assist can boost your speed to a maximum of 25 km/h.

De loopsteps zijn grappig, een paar maken iets meer geluid, gevoelig voor wat mankementjes maar met een noodnummer mee gewoon dik in orde!
