Mountain biking reservation
At the Veluwe Specialist you can rent different types of bikes and the mountain bike is one of them. With the mountain bike you follow the new singletracks mountain bike route of Zuid-Veluwe. This is one of the sportiest ways to explore the Veluwe. By renting a mountain bike, you can easily brave all the forests, heathlands, mud trails and sandy excavations of the Veluwe. All you have to do is follow the colored signs and you will cycle past the most beautiful spots of the Veluwe.
From Otterlo there are several mountain bike routes to reach. The Veluwe Specialist employee in the store can tell you all about it. This route consists mainly of single tracks, specially constructed for mountain bikers. The height differences and the accompanying descents make it a nice sporty mountain bike tour!
Is just renting a mountain bike not enough? Then make a combination between different activities. For example, in the morning you can work yourself out through the Otterlo woods on a mountain bike. And visit De Hoge Veluwe National Park on an electric bike. That's something different from renting the white bikes on the Hoge Veluwe.

We have mountain bikes for adults and children. The mountain bikes for adults vary in frame size, so we have a suitable size for everyone whether you're 5'6" or 6'4". See the reserve button for the various sizes.
Do I have to pay a deposit if I want to rent a mountain bike?
No, we do not charge a deposit for renting our mountain bikes.
Is it mandatory to follow a route?
You will receive from us a route or a reference to an official mountain bike route, so that you get the maximum mountain biking experience.
Should you wish to ride your own route, we are less able to help you in case of a possible breakdown.
