Voorthuizen

Voorthuizen is a nice village on the Veluwe which is very popular with tourists. This is reflected in the number of campsites, recreational parks and the like. The popularity is not entirely unjustified, in the summer there are several fun activities and you are from Voorthuizen within a few minutes surrounded by beautiful Veluwe landscapes. There is also a weekly fair in the summer and a Floralia every year. Voorthuizen also has an outdoor pool, bowling alleys and a fun outing for the smallest children namely the Corn Maze.

Around recreational lake Zeumeren there is especially much to do. For example, you can relax on the beach or take a refreshing dip in the recreational lake. But you can also learn wakeboarding and water skiing! A little too extreme? Then take it easy and enjoy an afternoon of short golf, miniature golf or foot golf. A wonderful activity in the sunshine. Not so nice weather anyway? Then go to Schateiland Zeumeren, where the kids can have fun in the indoor play paradise. This is all on recreation area Zeumeren which is within cycling / walking distance from Voorthuizen. In short, Voorthuizen has much to offer and is a nice village where you also can also enjoy various terraces in the cozy center.

These cozy terraces are easy to reach with one of VeluweSpecialist's funny transportation vehicles in Garderen. With a nice ride through the Veluwe woods you are soon in Voorthuizen. Here you can make a stop at one of the terraces or enjoy a delicious artisanal ice cream at the popular Ice Age in Voorthuizen. At the VeluweSpecialist, in addition to renting (electric) bikes or the funny E-bikes rents. A little too tiring? Then rent a fun E-chopper.
