Lunteren

Like many villages in the Veluwe, Lunteren is a Christian village with a beautiful location in nature. Lunteren even contains the center of the Netherlands. Not only a fun fact but it is also nice to have a look around. It is located on the Goudsberg where, among other things, you also have the observation tower the Dome. An afternoon to the Lunterse bos with these two highlights is also great fun with the kids. Lunteren also has some nice traditions, for example there is every year the Oud Lunterse Dag. This is the conclusion of the Heath Week in Ede where everyone from the village goes out on the street in traditional peasant clothing and enjoy the accompanying parade and party together. Every year it is held on the last Saturday of August.

As expected with a Veluwe village, the surroundings of Lunteren are very green and there are also many great hiking and biking trails here. From the Veluwe Specialist there are also several routes that visit Lunteren and for example the center of the Netherlands. Rent for example the E-mountain bikes and cross through the forests of the Goudsberg. Prefer something more relaxed? Then rent the striking E-chopper of the Veluwe Specialist and enjoy the Hoge Veluwe and stop for a nice terrace in Lunteren. So perfect for a fun day out in the Veluwe!
