You contribute to the strategy, maintain the brand’s image, and know how to turn ideas into visuals, copy, and formats that work.

From robust social media planning to creative Reels, from brand identity to measurable results: you understand how social media fits into the overall marketing mix. Do you help brands grow online with content that not only stands out but also resonates? Then this could very well be your new job.

Since 1996, we’ve been the leading specialist in day trips and excursions. At SOS Events, you’ll work in a medium-sized, dynamic work environment with short lines of communication on strong brands such as the Veluwe Specialist, Klimbos Garderen, Klimbos Harderwijk, Kroongeheim and Escape Tours.

What will you be doing as a Social Content Creator?
Together with five marketing colleagues, you’ll work on six of our own brands. You’ll develop creative content tailored to a variety of target audiences. As a true content creator, you’ll produce your own visuals and write engaging captions for the posts. You know what works well in terms of layout and visual appeal

From Stories and TikToks/Reels to ads and social media reports. You live and breathe social media and have already gained several years of experience in this field at another company. Every brand requires its own social media strategy. You know how to develop one and translate it into strong content. This way, you ensure that social media fits into the overall marketing mix and has a unique look and feel for each brand. You contribute ideas for new concepts and know how to powerfully combine text and visuals. That’s how you make sure the message sticks. Oh, and all of this takes place in the villages and natural surroundings of the beautiful Veluwe. Because that’s something we’re really proud of.

Is this the job for you?
You’re a creative writer with an excellent command of the Dutch language, and you stay up to date on the latest developments in AI and social media. You have an affinity for graphic design and video, allowing you to independently create strong and visually appealing content. You’ll have the freedom to visit our locations to create content, ensuring our social media channels always stay up to date.

The position is for 32 to 38 hours per week. You’ll start with a (half) year contract, which will be extended based on your performance.

We ask

At least 3 years of work experience and a college-level education (through formal training or practical experience);
Fluency and flawless command of the Dutch language;
Independence and strong organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues on the marketing team (such as the marketing specialist, brand designers, and web developers);
A commitment to continuous learning, so that you can stay sharp and continue to develop in your field;
An understanding of the marketing mix and the role of social media within it, including the rigorous management of social media planning;
Basic knowledge of Canva, video editing software such as Premiere Pro or Capcut, and/or Adobe software
