Unfortunately we both found the gentleman helping us unfriendly. I asked a question in between which he would apparently already tell us about later in his conversation and said he was still coming up with that in a bit bland way the atmosphere immediately diminished. When explaining how it worked what we were renting the atmosphere was still not nice and we didn't really dare to ask any more questions. Upon our return it wasn't even hey did you guys have fun? No we were received just as groggy of "put it there.... "Eventually I told a colleague inside that we really found it a pity and that it took away the cheerful mood we were in. Very unfortunate. If you don't like explaining things to customers yourself, then let the nice girl do it. She was helpful at the end and showed us the way to look at wild animals etc. A 10 for that lady who was really warm and friendly... a 1 for the gentleman who helped us. I don't think I have ever filled out a bad survey but hopefully he can do something with it for future customers.

Dear folks at Veluwe Specialist Garderen, The cycling itself is very nice, but the service and equipment is not up to par: - When registering for the newsletter, I receive a discount code. This is properly processed in the order summary, but when you pay with Ideal, the discount is not settled. Already contacted David about this, received new code, but again does not work. Reported during collection of the bikes (17/10). Answer employee: "We will discuss what to do with this." Not true. If your system does not work, just book the promised discount back. - We had rented bikes for two days. After day one, we parked them at the bike shed (as agreed with the person who delivered them that morning), and told a staff member we'd come back to pick them up tomorrow. Next morning: bikes gone. Loaned to another customer. Then it takes almost an hour (with two small children) before we can actually go out. Another tandem was retrieved from somewhere, the saddle could not be adjusted or fixed. Not usable. We waited a long time for a repair attempt, finally let our oldest child ride by himself, which was just fine. In all this time no excuses, cup of apple juice for the kids or anything. - When we returned from day 2, I once again raised the issue of the discount code. This was logged and would be discussed the next day. We would be called around October 20. Not heard anything yet. In short: bad service, not customer friendly and promises are not kept. We have been renting bikes from you for 5 years, but after this experience we may have to rethink some things. How things could have gone: - Discount code is not processed upon payment, customer reports this. Response: Very annoying, we are sorting it out. We have no cash here, but will transfer the promised discount. - Bike is -despite prepaid rent of 2 days- lent to other customer. Response: Obviously something went wrong here, apologies. We are going to sort this out. Would you or the children like something to drink while we take care of this? And then you either call the customer who just rode off with our bike, or you make sure there is a proper replacement very quickly. - After the second day, it would have been nice if you had done something for the long wait and that we could not use the paid and reserved bikes both days. With two small children, we choose two parent-child tandems for a reason. If only it had been a voucher for an ice cream at the corner for the kids. In the fall vacations you can logically expect a lot of bookings. Then make sure all the equipment is in place in advance. I still hope to receive a response from you. Neat service. Along the way, our bike was exchanged because the pedal assistance regularly failed. That is good service. However, it did reduce our enjoyment of cycling. We had to stop a lot and wait half an hour for a new bike. The quality of the bikes are less than I am used to with other rental companies. Tip: bicycles with center motor ride much more pleasantly.

For first time on loopstep, after clear explanation with fully charged batteries on the road. After 5 min you are accustomed and step / walk through the woods. Very nice and special to do a lot of attention from cyclists and hikers.

We had been looking forward to a day of mtb'ing with a friendly couple for a while. Unfortunately, my partner got sick just the night before. The day itself, unfortunately, she was too lousy to join us. So our friend canceled and the two of us men went mtb'ing together. That ended up being a lot of fun and we enjoyed the fine bikes and beautiful courses. Unfortunately, the Veluwe Specialists staff did not want to look for a solution together. We were told that there is a notice period of 8 days, which is very unachievable if you get sick at the last minute. This makes it very unpleasant to pay in advance in the future but also definitely a negative experience with this company due to the stiff attitude of the staff.

Not for a second did we regret renting the E-chopper Deluxe! We were very hesitant between the E-hopper and the E-chopper Deluxe but we could come by to see the difference and test the feeling of the seat. The first 5 to 10 minutes you have to get used to the slightly rougher handlebars but after that you don't even notice it anymore! Also, the Deluxe was better because of the wonderful suspension, so we didn't notice anything of the bumpy roads we passed! The surroundings of Otterlo were beautiful and we drove a lot through the woods and heath :)! In terms of time it was also fine! If you ride at your "hardest" you will finish a little earlier but we stopped along the route for photos and our own lunch and made good time! We will definitely rent an E-chopper Deluxe again! By the way, the staff members were also very friendly and informative

We had organized the activity ourselves; we went geocaching in and around Garderen. We rented bikes to do this. One bike was really too small, still strange that we got it. After having cycled around a bit, we changed this bike. Fortunately that was no problem. Nice that we could get panniers.

The activity was fine but the contact beforehand was very poor. Because of corona we had to move the activity. There was little room for this. Once a date was planned 2 times by phone and then there was never anything said about a deposit. We only heard this on the spot. We also started a little later but was immediately told that if we were not back in time we had to pay an additional E 25.00 pp. All in all an unpleasant experience and we would no longer book with you and would not recommend you to others.

It was thoroughly enjoyable! Great reception and explanation. Nice beautiful route! The E-choppers sufficed well, however, not all choppers had rear view mirrors, nor did all choppers have a bell. We only realized and saw this when we were on the road. Important for safety though!

There is a set route. This comes across as somewhat compulsive, but in retrospect this was fine. I cycle a lot myself and frequently use the ANWB's junction routes.

Rented some at several locations. What we noticed is that the equipment was much worse than last year and had several defects. Per branch the service is also different. One time we had to book by phone because it was not possible through the website.

Balance bike broke down 10 minutes before the end, tire wouldn't roll. Staff indicated they were going to look into it, but a little more understanding/compensation would have been neat.
