The watchtower the Dome stands in Lunteren on the Galgenberg which is 34 meters above N.A.P. The tower is 22 meters high and with good visibility and a viewer you can even see the Dom tower of Utrecht! The Koepel is open daily and exhibitions take place regularly. The Dome was built in 1913 and gets its name from the round copper roof. The state is a wooded area which is popular for bike rides and walks. From the Veluwe Specialist Otterlo, the watchtower is easily accessible.

Many routes of the Veluwe Specialist Otterlo pass by the watchtower. It is therefore a nice and relaxing stopover during, for example, an active mountain bike tour. Or enjoy the beautiful view after a funny trip with the E-Chopper or E-bike. From the Veluwe Specialist there are cycling routes available that pass by the watchtower.
