  • Is there an opportunity to barbecue afterwards?

    At some locations it is possible to have a barbecue afterwards. This is possible as of 20 persons. Click here for the BBQ arrangements.

  • Is there an opportunity to dine afterwards?

    Yes, at all locations we have contacts with catering locations in the area to reserve 3-course choice dinners.

  • What kind of pedals do mountain bikes contain?

    All mountain bikes have normal pedals, no click pedals are available. So you can go out with normal (sports) shoes!

  • Am I required to wear a helmet on a mountain bike?

    You are not required to wear a helmet on a mountain bike, but we do recommend it.

  • Can I bring a water bottle?

    Yes, there are water bottle cages on all mountain bikes.

  • Can I carry luggage on the mountain bike?

    You could do that in a backpack. There is no way to strap anything on the mountain bike.

  • Are there different sizes of mountain bike for rent?

    We have mountain bikes for adults and children. The mountain bikes for adults vary in frame size, so we have a suitable size for everyone whether you're 5'6" or 6'4". See the reserve button for the various sizes.

  • Does the route I am given take me past catering establishments?

    No, the route you get from us goes through forest and heath. However, you can go to a catering facility near the Veluwe Specialist before or after your mountain bike ride.

  • Is it mandatory to follow a route?

    You will receive from us a route or a reference to an official mountain bike route, so that you get the maximum mountain biking experience. Should you wish to ride your own route, we are less able to help you in case of a possible breakdown.

  • How long do the routes take?

    The 25 km route takes about 2 hours and the 40 km route takes about 3 hours.

  • Are bicycle routes available?

    Yes, the Veluwe, with its beautiful forests and elevation changes, is ideally suited to exploring by mountain bike. There are several routes in the nature that you can ride. Before your departure we explain exactly how this works.

  • Do I have to pay a deposit if I want to rent a mountain bike?

    No, we do not charge a deposit for renting our mountain bikes.
