Is a helmet required on the E-chopper?
Yes, since 2023 it is mandatory to wear a helmet on the E-chopper. Fortunately, we have very nice, free helmets available for you!

Can I carry luggage on the E-chopper?
A small amount of luggage can fit in the bag in the front (note: this bag is not on all E-choppers) and otherwise you can take a backpack if necessary. Thus, no large amount of luggage can be carried on the E-chopper.

Can you take two people on the E-chopper?
Kinderen van 4 t/m 12 jaar oud mogen mee als het gezamenlijke gewicht niet hoger is dan 120 kg. Twee volwassenen is dus niet toegestaan. Je dient zelf in te schatten of jouw kind mee kan en durft. Kinderen zitten voorop en moeten zichzelf vasthouden, er zijn geen kinderzitjes.

How fast does the E-chopper go?
Maximum 25 km/h.

Is there a minimum age for the E-chopper?
The E-chopper requires a minimum age of 16, and in addition you must hold a scooter license.

Do you need a driver's license to ride the E-chopper ?
Yes, it is mandatory to hold at least a moped license. Please bring this with you as well.

Do I have to pay a deposit if I want to rent an E-chopper ?
Yes, for renting our E-choppers we charge up to 4 persons €150,- deposit per reservation. For more persons we ask €250,- deposit per reservation. This amount can be pre-paid in the store. Please note, to be able to pay the deposit (back) a physical card of Maestro or V Pay is required.

Can I rent the E-chopper for an entire day?
No you can't, the E-choppers are only rented out for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

How can I add a BBQ to my E-choppper tour?
This is possible from 20 people upwards, a request must be made for this. See all information on this page.

Why do I have to pay a deposit when renting an E-chopper, E-walking bike or Bakfiets (Dutch cargo bike)?
We want everyone to handle our materials safely and cleanly. Therefore, when renting an E-chopper, E-walking bike or Bakfiets (Dutch cargo bike) we ask for a deposit. We hold this amount temporarily, in case damage occurs during use.
