"I am very dissatisfied. Almost had a serious accident because the mechanic on duty forgot to secure the front wheel. When I lifted my handlebars at a tree stump the front wheel just fell out. Fortunately, this caused me to crash on an ascent (still painful) but what if it had happened on a descent. I shouldn't think of the consequences. When I reported this to the reception upon my return there was no understanding or excuse for this incident. "You were given a card for in case of breakdown, right?" As if by doing so you are ticking off that t material may not be in order. Also, the suspension was not filled so every shock was felt full on the wrists. All in all super bad. When I pointed out that my friend was not well and I needed 2 instead of 3 bikes there was no sense of empathy and could not be credited. Could not be rented anymore was said, on the site it was clear that there were still plenty of (faulty) mtb's for rent. Nothing could even be done after the incident with the poor quality bike. In short, you are allowed to deliver crappy material at the main price but you are not allowed anything at all as a customer. The man behind the counter could not do anything about it "instructions from above" was his comment. Well "higher hand" I am curious to your reaction. For your information the clap can still be felt in my shoulder. With surprised regards, your very dissatisfied customer"

"We had been looking forward to a day of mtb'ing with a couple friend. Unfortunately, my partner got sick just the night before. The day itself, unfortunately, she was too lousy to join us. So our friend canceled and the two of us men went mtb'ing together. That ended up being a lot of fun and we enjoyed the fine bikes and beautiful courses.
Unfortunately, the Veluwe Specialists staff did not want to look for a solution together. We were told that there is a notice period of 8 days, which is very unachievable if you get sick at the last minute. This makes it very uncomfortable to pay in advance in the future but also definitely a negative experience with this company due to the stiff attitude of the staff.

In short, it was totally great, but not thanks to the quality of the bike provided."

Later also the saddle came loose so had to break off halfway through the ride but already went for no meter because I couldn't change gears. Went back and female colleague helped me out by finding a bike that did work, so next day I was able to cycle a nice route. Found the male colleague very short-tempered and felt like I was an annoying customer but to be able to cycle a bit in the Veluwe you just need a decent bike and I think I'm paying well for it. So not really satisfied because 1 of the 2 days felt like wasted anyway.... "

"The booking, despite the glitch, could have been handled better. By phone it was stiff and they made you wait. The booking took a lot of time because of this, the fun took away tremendously. The discount of 5% was also not calculated online, was eventually allowed then on the spot, after several contact moments by phone as by mail, was figured out.Wrong bikes were ready and the adjustment was not considered. A card was printed in the hand for possible urgency. Along the way, daughter's bike was found to have a loose saddle. Dangerous given the activity. Fixed it myself several times. Eventually found dexterity in it. Upon arrival, the question was not, did you have fun or something similar; 'you still have to pay'.
At checkout we got no discount despite promised 5%. Was helped again cranky. Upon inquiry it turned out we were right and the 5% was 1 euro according to staff. When indicating that it is not correct the answer is, 'but this indicates the system'. Also not the question how it was, purely focused on settlement of wrong amount. When reporting on the bicycle of daughter there is almost no response. When asking if something can be accommodated regarding the unreliable children's bike, without listening to the story there is a direct reference to the ticket. Since we had not calculated the saddle as an emergency and had solved it as best we could ourselves did not call. Then it was just too bad for us. Addressed the lady about customer friendliness. It is a super concept, but staff make or break the experience. The sum of reservation, helpfulness, communication and interest of staff there is a lot to gain. The route is great for biking. "
