I found it took quite a long time at the check-in counter because only 1 person was working and there was a big line. Then the outside employee was not clear which bike was for us and spent another half hour trying to find and mount a child's seat while the bike was already ready for us. Waiting with 3 small children is then quite a challenge . Of course everyone did their best but wanted to give it away. Because of this we could only leave 3 quarters of an hour later than booked. We really enjoyed being able to bike in this area. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, we found the quality of the bikes not so good. There was 1 pretty old bike among them, some of which fell off very quickly. It was just the mudguard, but still. And it was already rusting pretty badly. And the other bikes were quite heavy.

1 of our chopper had a stiff steering ball, this made it difficult to maneuver on the bike paths and even somewhat unsafe, it was therefore too dangerous to put our 8 year old daughter in the front with this.

We were helped quickly and there was a lot of choice in routes. Unfortunately, one of the tandems was not as nice: it did not shift properly and the tires were not fully inflated. That made it a lesser experience. And according to the website, we also had a choice of a particular quiz for during the route, but I didn't hear anyone talk about that. The junction route was also fun, but would have liked to have heard something about it especially if it is recommended on the website.

Chilly bikes and lovely stretch to cross country, not a tough course, but that was nice for a while too. Just cruising through the beautiful countryside, especially the heath is beautiful! Thanks!

The bike functioned fine, but the saddle was really rock hard, that should really be replaced. Also very unfortunate that there is not a pannier on it as standard.

Reserved months in advance. At that time, a 100% deposit followed immediately within 24h. A few days before the activity, we received notification that the location of the activity was nevertheless closed on the day we had reserved. We were flexible and moved to another location. Instead of 13 MTBs, we rented 12 MTBs on that day, but we just had to pay for 13. Despite customer flexibility, The Veluwe Specialist is not very customer friendly.

Rented bikes here for second time. Like last time, enjoyed it very much. Nice staff and excellent instructions. Bicycles of slightly lower quality. One bike had a loose battery, so there was a lot of rattling every time we bumped, the chain came off on the other bike along the way. For the latter we were helped very adequately, solved well, so excellent service! Next time we will rent our bikes here again!
