After about 2 km, a battery did not seem to make a good contact. The support fell off every time. Pushing against the battery helped, but temporarily. After 100 meters the battery failed again. So we drove back. We were kindly helped and got a new scooter. This is the second time we did this activity in Otterlo and again we had a dead battery at the end. Well you can go call and have to wait a while. We just pedaled and walked the last part (from the Mossel) anyway. So there are problems with the batteries! This was also admitted by one of the employees. A very fun activity, but hassle with the batteries does put a damper on this afternoon.

There was a button on the battery that affected the on/off position. It would have been handy if this had been pointed out because now we could not leave on the second day. we first went back to the lending office on Tuesday. It was nice to be able to rent a bike that was just a little straighter. Otherwise we cycled well.

Too bad there is only one (mandatory) route available for e-choppers. With a 15-minute break, the route is still a lot shorter than the planned time, but is very beautiful. Staff helped well and gave a clear explanation.

We booked online and had to pay €1.38 handling fee. Not a world amount but still.... When we were at the pick-up desk there were people who had not booked and therefore it kind of stopped. They did not pay an administration fee. Maw booking online saves a lot of delay but you have to pay that. When it was our turn it was settled within 20 seconds because we are familiar. Bit of a shame.

It was a nice outing with the e-chopper. Nice route with it, through the forest and along the beautiful purple heath. For a while we had bad luck and the battery was dead. After a phone call they came and solved the problem quickly. Top!

Staff, friendly and attentive. Were quickly on site when one of us broke down. Chopper riding: point of interest and tip for staff. If you have somewhat shorter arms, you automatically turn the throttle when you turn left. Then you can make a weird smack because you are suddenly going fast. Extra footsteps: with our choppers, at least 1 per chopper was loose, is awkward. It varied whether you had 1 or 2 mirrors per chopper. 2 mirrors is very handy though!

Only thing forgotten, found out later ourselves, was the explanation and login for the app referenced in the email. But the routes/cycle paths in the Hoge Veluwe are very well marked so that wasn't a problem for us in the end.

There was not very good and clear explanation about the E chopper, also in my opinion the E chopper was not checked for squeaks and creaking parts. Also, the brake fluid on both my E chopper and my friend's E chopper was not clear and not clean anymore, this I will check and replace more often as a consideration. Furthermore, other parts like e.g. A phone holder should be functional and not missing a corner. The route was beautiful and of course the idea is totally fun! We further enjoyed and were only not really pleased with the E chopper itself.

Friendly staff. Good explanations. Fine e-choppers. But never eat at the Bonte Koe in Garderen. What an unfriendly owner. Restaurant Ons Lagerhuysnaat the location in Garderen is highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fun ride with the E-bikes. T took some practice, but succeeded. The breakdown we had was also easily solved using the info on the app after which we got a replacement bike. In short: it was great

It was unfortunate, though, that the bike had to be returned as early as five o'clock. The store itself closed at 5:30. These are not high season times.

Wonderful ride. Fine bikes. Unfortunately oil/grease splashed off 1 bike so my legs were speckled black and so were my fairly new 95 euro shoes. Unfortunately it doesn't come off. Reaction of receptionist was that we had to contact the head office. This was a real bummer after such a nice trip.
