Woeste Hoeve

Website: woestehoeve.co.uk/

This is a hamlet in the Municipality of Apeldoorn. It is still a real old-fashioned hamlet, which consists of a restaurant, a hotel and some houses. The tavern from the Middle Ages was rebuilt in the year 1771, because it was partly destroyed by a fierce fire. In the year 1811 it received a royal visit, namely by Napoleon with Marie-Louise. A little later, King William lll visited the tavern regularly on his way to the Loo Palace.
