Doorwerth Castle is a historic medieval castle which has been inhabited by several noble families in the past. Once built in 1280 and then several times renovated. For example the large-scale post-war restoration. Many rooms and sections of the Castle have been preserved, these can also all be visited. These include the knight's hall, the old kitchen and the prison. The castle is open from Tuesday to Sunday!

Doorwerth Castle is located in the floodplains of the Rhine. This is on the border of the Veluwe, from the Veluwe Specialist Otterlo you can therefore visit the castle during a nice trip across the Veluwe.
