Berlage Bridge - Park de Hoge Veluwe
The Berlage Bridge is a monumental bridge in the gardens of the
Hunting Lodge Sint-Hubertus in the Dutch National Park De Hoge Veluwe, designed by architect H.P. Berlage. The bridge is a national monument.
The bridge was built in 1919/1920 as part of the Sint-Hubertus hunting lodge. The bridge is part of the gardens designed by Berlage in English landscape style around the former country house of the Kröller-Müller family. The route from the planned, but never realized, main entrance at Oud-Reemst to the Hunting Lodge led over this bridge. The bridge is still part of the main route to the Hunting Lodge. On the bridge one has a view of the Hunting Lodge, gardens and ponds.
