  • Will the outdoor ride continue in bad weather?

    You can ride in the indoor arena or make a new appointment with the center. It is up to the riding school to decide whether or not the outdoor ride will take place. When it rains, you can just ride. Only in extreme weather conditions the outside ride will be canceled.

  • Can I do an outdoor horseback ride alone?

    No, an outdoor horseback ride is possible starting from 2 people.

  • Can I go on an outdoor ride with my friend(s) if I have experience but my friend(s) do not?

    Yes, the level of the outdoor ride is then adjusted to the person who has no experience.

  • How are the groups assigned?

    Level is taken into account when forming the groups.

  • How large is the horseback riding group?

    The group can vary from 2-6 people, it depends on the number of registrations.

  • Do you have to be an experienced rider to join?

    Precisely not, our outdoor horseback ride is for beginners who have little or no horseback riding experience.

  • Is there a maximum weight?

    To keep it comfortable for the horses we use a maximum weight of 100 kg.

  • Can I get a riding cap at the equestrian center?

    Yes, it is possible to borrow a riding cap from the equestrian center.

  • Is riding gear required?

    No, but wearing a safety cap is mandatory. If you do not have a cap, you can borrow one from the center. Furthermore, you must wear appropriate footwear such as riding boots, sturdy shoes with a low heel or a sturdy walking shoe. It is also useful to wear sports pants or leggings.

  • How long is the outdoor horseback ride?

    The ride across the Veluwe takes about 2 hours.

  • From what age can you join an outdoor horseback ride?

    Children as young as about 5 or 6 years old can join the outdoor ride.

  • Is the field trip supervised?

    Yes, with the horseback outrides there is always accompaniment from the riding school.
