The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a mushroom walk in the Orderbos on Saturday, September 26, 2026. What you don’t know, you don’t love—but mushrooms have so much to offer! While they used to end up in mysterious potions, you can now find countless edible varieties at the supermarket. During this walk through the Orderbos, the forest rangers will talk about the mushrooms’ unique characteristics and their often striking Dutch names, which refer to their scent, taste, or appearance. Let yourself be surprised by the stories and the beauty of these fascinating fall phenomena. Advance online registration is required.
Time: starts at 2:00 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation fee: 6.00 euros per person; children ages 4–12: 3.00 euros per person; donors: 3.00 euros per person; children ages 4–12 of donors: 1.50 euros per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
