The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a full moon hike across the Tongerense heath on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Let yourself be guided by the tranquil nature of this beautiful area. The hikers have disappeared, and silence descends upon the landscape. The forest rangers will help you enjoy the secluded heathlands and mysterious forest paths. Encounters with wildlife are possible. Let’s focus on enjoying the evening silence and atmosphere. Advance online registration is required.
Time: starts at 9:30 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: €6.00 per person, children ages 4–12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
Tip from the forest ranger: wear sturdy shoes; the trails are often loose and muddy.
