Walk through the Mariëndaal Estate

Walk through the Mariëndaal Estate

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a guided walk through the Mariëndaal estate. The estate features significant variations in elevation, which the forest ranger will point out and explain. The area boasts not only natural beauty but also a fascinating history. Explore the monastery that stood here five hundred years ago using the recently released virtual tour. The forest ranger will also point out the boundary markers, an ice cellar, and a small temple. Another distinctive feature of the estate is the so-called berceau (commonly known as the “Green Bedstead”). During this walk, we can also admire the Stone Table, which once served as a tombstone. Advance online reservation is required.
