Birdwatching walk on the Warnsborn Estate

Birdwatching walk on the Warnsborn Estate

The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a bird-watching walk on the Warnsborn estate on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Warnsborn is an estate with open fields and a wooded park that buzzes with life in the spring. Birds love to show themselves and make their voices heard here. Anyone who joins the excursion will really get into the spring spirit. Woodpeckers, blackbirds and thrushes, nuthatches and tree creepers, all kinds of titmice, and perhaps buzzards or other birds of prey: they’re putting on an open-air concert, and we’re invited. While we listen, the forest ranger will offer tips to help you better remember which chirp belongs to which bird. Advance online reservation is required.

• Time: starts at 10:00 a.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
• Participation: €6.00 per person, children ages 4–12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person, children ages 4–12 of donors €1.50 per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.

• Tip from the forest ranger: Bring binoculars to get a closer look at the often shy birds.
