The rangers from Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a wildlife observation tour on Saturday, May 9, at the De Dellen estate. The De Dellen nature reserve is home to many red deer and wild boars. At the start of the excursion, the forest ranger will brief participants on the animals and their habitat. Once inside the wildlife observation post, it’s important to be as quiet as possible so the animals remain unaware of our presence. You’ll stay in the observation post until sunset, waiting for the wildlife to appear. It may take a while for the animals to show themselves; patience is key during this excursion. This gives you the chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the tranquility of nature. Hopefully, you’ll get the chance to see some of these majestic red deer and wild boars!
