On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a scenic hike across two interconnected estates: the Hemelse Berg and the Pietersberg. The area has a park-like character with many elevation changes. The landscape is varied, featuring wooded areas, stately avenues, winding paths, expansive meadows, spring-fed streams, and ponds with small waterfalls. It is a beautiful location for hikers. During the walk, the forest ranger will take participants on a journey through time. Discover the origins of this area and learn more about its rich past, which is still reflected in the current landscape. Experience the unique blend of nature and history while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Advance online reservation is required.

Participation fee: €6.00 per person, children ages 4–12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person, children ages 4–12 of donors €1.50 per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
