HEERDE - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a morning hike on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the De Dellen estate. This brisk spring hike takes participants through the beautiful De Dellen estate. The natural landscape here is exceptionally diverse, and there are also fascinating stories to tell about the area’s history. The names of Patriot General Daendels and Dr. Buys Ballot will certainly come up. They, in particular, have left many “traces” in the landscape. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the budding spring. With a bit of luck, a roe deer, red deer, or wild boar might cross our path. The duration of the walk allows for a slightly longer hike, depending on the participants’ preferences and the weather. Advance online registration is required.

• Participation fee: €6.00 per person, children ages 4–12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person, children ages 4–12 of donors €1.50 per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
