The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an early morning walk to the Duno Plateau on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Join the forest ranger and experience how nature awakens on the Duno. While it is still dark, we will walk to the Duno Plateau where, if the weather is clear, we will watch the sun rise over Arnhem. Hopefully, we will experience magical moments in the forest and on the plateau as nature slowly awakens and the silence of the night is broken. The forest ranger will also discuss the cultural history of the area we’re walking through.
This walk will be held quarterly this year so we can experience the different seasons. Advance online registration is required.
• Time: starts at 6:30 a.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
• Participation fee: €6.00 per person, children ages 4–12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person, children ages 4–12 of donors €1.50 per person upon presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
