The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an early morning walk on the Duno estate on Saturday, February 21, 2026. So we'll be setting off early! At first, we'll be walking through the forest in the dark, but then we'll see it slowly getting lighter. When we arrive at the Duno plateau, we will be in time to see the sun rise in the east, above Arnhem. If the weather is clear, we can experience magical moments in the forest and on the plateau, as nature slowly awakens and the silence of the night is broken. On the Duno Plateau, the forest ranger will focus on nature, but also on the visible past of this area. This walk will be held every quarter this year so that we can also experience the differences in the seasons. Advance online booking is required.
• Time: starts at 7:15 a.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
• Participation: €6.00 per person, children aged 4 to 12 €3.00 per person, donors €3.00 per person, children aged 4 to 12 of donors €1.50 per person on presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
• Tip from the forest ranger: Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a small flashlight if necessary.
