On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a children's walk on the Staverden estate. There is much more to see in the forest than you might think. Have you ever pulled a piece of bark off a dead tree? Or pushed aside leaves on the ground? You won't believe your eyes. It's teeming with beetles and millipedes. Can you recognize the tracks of deer or other animals? And maybe there are gnomes living in that hollow tree stump? You can also invent fun games with twigs or pine cones. Join the forest ranger and discover educational and fun things in the forest. Advance online reservations are required.
