VOORTHUIZEN - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a winter walk through the Wilbrinkbos on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Experience the unique atmosphere of the forest in winter. Together with the forester you will go out and discover how snow, frost or rain change the landscape. Each type of weather leaves its own traces: glistening branches after a night frost, a silent white world after snowfall, or the smell of wet earth after rain. Along the way, the forester explains how these conditions affect life in the forest. Join us, breathe in the fresh winter air and experience the season up close. Advance online reservations are required.
Time: start at 2 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
Tip from the forester: After a lot of rain it is wise to put on boots.
