STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a cultural-historical walk across the Staverden estate on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Walk with the forester and step back in time, to the 13th century. Once Staverden was a green oasis in the middle of vast heathlands, marshes and sand drifts. Along the way you will hear about the smallest town in the Netherlands, the castle and its striking inhabitants. Get carried away by the legend of the mysterious black woman and meet the stately white peacocks, the symbol of Staverden. A walk full of nature, history and special stories. Experience Staverden as you have never seen it before. Booking in advance online is required.
Time: start at 2 pm. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
