WARNSBORN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a walk in the dark around the Warnsborn estate on Friday, October 24.
During the 21st Night of the Night, the Warnsborn estate will open especially for an exciting children's walk in the dark. Normally the area is closed at this time of day, but now you can discover how everything changes when night falls. Feel the silence, listen to mysterious sounds and experience the estate in a completely different way. A unique adventure for young explorers, all about appreciating the dark and combating light pollution. Advance online reservations are required.
Time: start at 7 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., donors 3.00 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK donor pass.
Tip from the forester: This walk is suitable for children aged 8 and older. Put on sturdy shoes, bring warm clothing and possibly rainwear. A flashlight can be handy but will only be used if really necessary. Please have a maximum of one adult chaperone per child.
