EPE - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an exciting walk in the dark on the Tongerense Heide on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Normally the Tongerense Heide is closed after sunset, but during the Night of the Night you will take an exceptional walk in the dark. The forester leads participants through one of the quietest and darkest places in the Veluwe. Feel the peace, experience the silence and, on a clear day, maybe even admire the Milky Way. A unique opportunity to discover nature at night and return safely. Experience the magic of the night on the Tongeren Heath! Advance online reservations are required.
Time: start at 7:30 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., donors 3.00 euro p.p., on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
Tip from the forester: This excursion is not suitable for children under 12 years. Sturdy footwear is recommended. In case of heavy rain, storm or fog the walk will not take place.
