BARNEVELD - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an evening walk for children on Friday, October 17, 2025 on Schaffelaar estate. It is already quite dark and nature is about to go to sleep. The animals are searching for their burrows or nests. Some flowers close and others open again. The latter is for the insects that are active at night. The forest rangers let you discover what can be seen in the forest as it slowly gets completely dark. Depending on the weather, put on good clothes and shoes or boots you can walk well in. Advance reservations online are required.
Time: start at 7 p.m. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 6 to 12 years 3.00 euro p.p., donors 3.00 euro p.p., children 6 to 12 years of donors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
Tip from the forester: This activity is for children 6 to 12 years old. Please have a maximum of one adult supervisor per child.
