STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a quiet walk on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, on the Staverden estate. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the tranquility of the forest during this late summer excursion. Forest rangers will show you the subtle changes in the landscape as the warm colors of summer slowly give way to the calm tones of autumn. We walk along quiet trails, surrounded by trees slowly dropping their leaves and listening to the rustling of leaves under our feet. Forest rangers will point out interesting flora and fauna to participants during this walk, and will be happy to share their knowledge about the hidden treasures of the forest. Advance online reservations are required.
Time: start at 2 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
Tip from the forester: Wear sturdy shoes and don't be afraid of a bit of rain.
