WEKEROM - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a twilight walk across the Wekeromse Zand on Saturday, September 13, 2025. At all times of the day the Wekeromse Zand is worthwhile. Yet there are those hours when there is a chance to experience the area differently. This applies to sunrise but certainly also to dusk, the time when the sun goes down and the colors in the landscape start to change. There is then a greater chance of seeing wildlife. Of course, it remains to be seen because nature cannot be directed. A walk in this area is always an experience. Booking in advance online is necessary.
Time: start at 8 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., donors 3.00 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
Tip from the forester: Participants should note that part of the walk goes through loose sand. This walk is not suitable for small children under 12 and people with walking difficulties. Dogs prohibited.
