STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a walk through the Staverden stream valley on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Take a walk with the forester across the beautiful Staverden estate, situated between two moraines from the penultimate ice age. This unique landscape formed the backdrop for thousands of years of habitation, agriculture and nature development. Along the way the ranger tells about the geology, rich nature and cultural history of the estate which is closely linked to the Staverdense beek. A varied walk full of stories in one of the most beautiful places of the Veluwe. Advance booking online is required.
Time: start at 14.00 hours. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., donators 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of donators 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
Tip from the forester: Wear sturdy walking shoes, the path can be uneven or wet in some places.
