OOSTERBEEK - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a walk along the Slijpbeek on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. We walk from Mariëndaal to the Rosandepolder. This means that we walk on the transition from the lateral moraine to the floodplains near the river, bridging a considerable height difference from about 35 meters in Mariëndaal to about 10 meters in the Rosandepolder. The participants walk (partly) along the Slijpbeek and discover the differences in nature between forest and floodplain. The forester also tells about the history of this area and pays attention to numerous other attractions. Advance online reservation is required.
Time: start at 2 p.m. Duration: approx. 2.5 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
