VELP - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a country estate walk on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 on Biljoen estate. Biljoen is old estate with a castle and accompanying coach house, tenant farms, streams and ponds, park forest and meadows. The nature of the estate is special. There are beautiful old trees, a stream runs and many water features with cascades. There are also special and sometimes rare plant and animal species. An attractive area for walking. During the excursion the forester pays attention to the history, culture and nature of the estate. Advance booking online is required.
Time: start at 19.00 hours. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
Please note: Biljoen castle can be seen, but is not open to the public, as is the private part of the park behind the castle.
