OOSTERBEEK - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an early morning walk on the Dunoplateau on Saturday, April 5, 2025. We set off early and while walking through the dark forest we see it slowly getting lighter. Arriving at the Dunoplateau we are in time to see the sun rise in the east, above Arnhem. When the sky is clear and the clouds stay away, we can experience magical moments in the forest and on the plateau as nature slowly awakens and the silence of the night slowly breaks. During the walk on the Duno Plateau, the forester will pay attention to nature and the visible history of this area.
This walk will be held quarterly this year so that we also experience the differences in seasons. Advance reservations online are required.
Time: start at 6:30 a.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
Tip from the forester: wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a small flashlight if necessary.
