In early spring, the diversity of birds in the Park is enormous. The resident birds, summer visitors and long-distance guests then briefly share the habitat.
Going out with a guide who knows a lot about the birds in the Park is a special experience especially during this time. Every bird has its own sound, but also its specific behavior. The different forest types and open areas found in the south of the Park provide a great diversity and density of birds.
To maximize the chances of seeing and hearing a great diversity of birds, the nature guide will leave from Schaarsbergen entrance at 8 a.m. with a small group. From the entrance a White Bike - or your own bike - is used to enter the Park; in places where it is convenient, the bike is left behind and continued on foot. At 11 a.m., we will conclude with a cup of coffee and something sweet at Teahouse de Kemperberg.
Don't forget your binoculars!
