STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a spring walk on Sunday, March 16, 2025 on Staverden estate. Spring is coming. The days are getting longer and it is not so very cold anymore. When the sun shines you feel the warmth. Flowers such as wood anemone and March violet are already blooming, even before the leaves come to the trees. Foxes and squirrels have just had young, while red deer are just a few weeks away. Everyone is getting the spring fever. The forester explains what happens in the forest during this time and why we have to be careful not to disturb the animals during the breeding season. But enjoying nature is of course possible. Booking in advance online is required.
