Ramble: Along brook and shifting dunes in the Veluwezoom
Join one of five wandering tours across the beautiful Veluwezoom! The guides will introduce you to the most beautiful areas and tell you about both nature and history. You walk about 14 km and start at 10 am, around 4 pm you are back at the starting point.
Through stream valley and forests
During this ramble you will discover the beautiful springs of the Soeren stream. See the bathhouse where cold water therapy was once given.... Indeed with water from the stream. You walk through the historic avenues around the bathhouse, climb the drifting dunes of the Jutberg. Through the pine and beech forests you walk along wide lanes and narrow paths through what used to be sand drifts and moors. Plags or shadows were cut here. Now this is a beautiful forest area. Along the way we pass the Priesnitzhoeve where we make a coffee/tea stop. Throughout the area the tracks of red deer, fallow deer, roe deer and wild boar can be seen and who knows not only the tracks.
