Our guide will take you through this beautiful area in search of the Icelandic horses. Why do these animals just run loose in the woods here? How many horses does the herd consist of? And did you know that an Icelandic horse has 5 "gaits"?
We also have to really look for the horses, because of course we don't know where they hang out. It could be that they are near the sheepfold, but maybe they are walking on the heath or somewhere in the Beekhuizen woods. So it could be quite a walk!
If we go up the Heuven mountain we might see them running across the Herikhuizerveld.
