The Barneveld Balloon Fiesta has a rich history. In 1982 Barneveld commemorated the fact that Jan van Schaffelaar jumped from the church tower 500 years earlier to give his men a free retreat. That same year, Barnevelder Ben Bläss and balloonist Hans Zoet laid the foundation for the very first Ballonfiësta. Meanwhile, the 40th edition is scheduled.

Participation: adults 8.00 euros, children from 5 to 12 years 5.00 euros.
