STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen will organize a discovery tour for children and their parents in the woods of the Staverden estate on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. There is much more to see in the woods than you think. Have you ever pulled a piece of bark off a dead tree? Or pushed aside leaves on the ground? You don't know what you see. It is teeming with beetles and centipedes. Do you recognize traces of deer or other animals? And in that hollow tree stump, maybe gnomes live there? You can also invent fun games with twigs or pine cones. Join the forest ranger and discover educational and fun things in the forest. Attention! This hike starts at the visitor center. Advance online reservations are required.
Time: starts at 2 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 3.00 euro p.p., contributors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years of contributors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK contributor card.
Tip from the forester: It is winter so adapt your clothing to the weather conditions.
