OOSTERBEEK - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen will search for animal tracks on the Lichtenbeek estate on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. What happens during the cold months in the forest? How do plants survive the winter? Which animals hibernate or survive the cold period in a different way? Did you know that cocooning was invented by animals? When there is snow or mud, all kinds of game tracks can be found and mushrooms can always be seen on the trees. In short, the forest ranger will take you in search of all kinds of tracks and tell you special facts about animals and plants in winter. Advance booking online is required.
Time: start at 2 p.m. Duration: about 2.5 hours.
Participation: 6.00 euro p.p., children 4 to 12 years 3.00 euro p.p., donors 3.00 euro p.p., children 4 to 12 years of donors 1.50 euro p.p. on presentation of a valid GLK donor pass.
