With a nature guide, you will search for and listen to the sound of the tawny owl. In winter, the courtship call of the male tawny owl can be easily heard in the evening and at night.

In mild winters, the courtship begins as early as January, but usually in February. The female tawny owl is already on the eggs in March and in April the young are born.
