STAVERDEN - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a winter walk on the Staverden estate on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Winter is a challenging time for nature. Plants and animals each have their own strategies to survive the cold season. While nature seeks its winter rest, people in the countryside also used to have their hands full keeping their homes warm and stockpiling enough food to get through the winter. During the dark days before Christmas, a walk across Staverden Estate is the ideal way to explore the different faces of winter. Discover how nature adapts to the cold and get carried away by the silence of the winter landscape. Advance online reservations are required.
Time: starts at 2 p.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 5.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 2.50 euro p.p., donors free on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
