DOORWERTH - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a cultural-historical walk across the Duno estate on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Starting point is Doorwerth Castle from where the lateral moraine will be climbed. The difference in height is about 40 meters. Along the way we pass through dense forests interspersed with beautiful vistas. The tour passes the former hamlet of Doorwerth, the Huneschans and the Dunoplateau. During the walk, attention is paid to the cultural-historical aspects in the area but nature is also discussed. Afterwards you can also visit the beautiful castle. Booking in advance online is necessary.
Time: start at 14.00 hours. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 5.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 2.50 euro p.p., donors free on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
