OOSTERBEEK - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a cultural-historical walk on the Oorsprong estate on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024. This beautiful estate is located in a hilly area on the lateral moraine of southeast Veluwe. It is a beautiful and varied landscape with forests, fields and water features. Locally, there is a distinction within the Oorsprong between 'High Oorsprong' and 'Low Oorsprong'. Water has been a determining factor in the development of the Oorsprong into a renowned country estate. What did this lead to? What actually stood on the estate? Is there anything left to see? During the walk, the forester will tell you about the origins of this area, about the rich past of both parts of the estate and the reflection of this history in today's landscape. Advance online reservation is required.
Time: start at 1:30 p.m. Duration: approx. 2.5 hours.
Participation: 5.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 2.50 euro p.p., donors free on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
