DOORWERTH - The forest rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a morning walk to the Dunoplateau on Saturday, September 21, 2024. We set off early and walk through the forest in the dark. We will see it slowly getting light and be at the Dunoplateau in time to see the sun rise over Arnhem. It must be clear and not cloudy. If all goes well you will experience magical moments in the forest and on the plateau. Nature awakens, silence is broken. This walk will be held quarterly this year, so you can experience the differences in the seasons. Furthermore, we will tell a few things about the history and nature of the area. Advance booking online is necessary.
Time: start at 7 a.m. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
Participation: 5.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 2.50 euro p.p., donors free of charge on presentation of a valid GLK donor card.
Tip from the forester: wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a small flashlight if necessary.
